Over the summer, I started following a new food blog: Healthy Eats.
Now, most blogs with a title like “Healthy Eats” would get my attention in theory – but since most “healthy” food sites really fall short on the overall desirability of the food, I don’t end up following them. This one looks pretty good, though. And it is posted by a team of dietitians with the goal of adding fresher, more wholesome food to your diet. They describe it as:
To us, healthy eating doesn’t mean deprivation and crash diets — or even diets at all. Instead, we’re here to share the most delicious — and practical — information. All the recipes we spotlight meet our strict nutritional guidelines and feature whole ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, nuts and seeds, legumes, lean meats, seafood and healthy fats.
So stop over and take a look. Their newsletter is pretty good too.
